The scorer focuses on relative sound shape rather than identity. Depending on the reference, it compares melody movement, rhythm, attack timing, energy and texture. An exact absolute pitch is not required, and the game does not attempt to recognize a speaker or judge an accent.
After every take, two waveforms make the comparison visible: the reference on one lane and your recording on the other. When a recording is too quiet, clipped or noisy to score responsibly, Mimic Party explains the signal problem instead of inventing a precise result.
